Fort Radíkov is a military fortress from 1871 with an area of 5 ha. It is possible to park on a hard surface or on grass. Alternatively, set up tents within the whole area.

If you want to enjoy REAL wilderness, peace and quiet, don't hesitate. I recommend arriving at daylight well in advance so you have enough time to find a suitable place to camp. There are two elevated spots in the middle of the fort that have fire rings with seating.

A very pleasant experience. Beautiful scenery in the fort area, no other guests, but even if we were not alone, there is plenty of space in the area without disturbing each other. The caretaker was very helpful and helpful, he explained everything perfectly and when I didn't hit the right gate the first time he was immediately available on the phone. The possibility of an extra 50 CZK for the toilet a huge plus. We definitely plan to return.

Absolutely great choice for us. Enclosed, really big, space a few minutes drive from Olomouc. Our car is completely self-contained and we directly seek out locations of a similar nature with virtually zero services in the overgrown wilderness. It's certainly not for campers wanting to be comfortable with a pool and umbrellas. We recommend either using it as a base camp after your travels around the Olomouc region, or buy bottles of wine for your fridge, fill up the water to the brim, roll out the chairs, turn on the projector with Netflix and get a lounger. There's really no way to get onto the property from the outside other than through the gate, so outside of similarly wacky people, you won't meet a soul here. For the most part, we were completely alone on the entire property. Awesome.
