Pond "Dubíček" below the village of Drslavice near Klatovy #2609

The pond "Dubíček," which can be found between the villages of Drslavice and Tupadly in the Klatovy region, is a suitable place for all those who want to relax from the ordinary worries of human life and enjoy some time in the complete peace and quiet of the picturesque surroundings of the Pošumava region for just one reservation (with a group of friends, if necessary) - i.e. you will always be alone at the pond, in peace and quiet - undisturbed by anyone.It is located away from all the main roads leading around Klatovy, so you don't have to worry about being bothered by heavy traffic from morning to evening, but it is possible that occasionally a car will pass by on the second class road, a plane with parachutists will fly by, or they will be training on the motocross track behind the hill. Instead, you can enjoy swimming in the pond (or go to the nearby abandoned sandpit, or the town pool, which also has a sauna and water slide), fishing (right on the pond, or at the nearby Úhlava River and the adjacent blind arms and pools), boating, sitting by the fire in the evening, or going to interesting places, of which there are not a few in the area. For beautiful views you can walk to the top of Doubrava hill (on the slope of which the pond is located) and if you are lucky, in good weather you can see all the way to the Alps, as the locals say 
If you are a fan of bike trips, you will be pleased with the presence of many bike paths in the immediate vicinity. If you are sporty, you can visit the local tennis court with artificial surface, where you can play tennis, netball or volleyball for free. Climbers will enjoy the opportunity to climb the Tupadel rocks. The surrounding forests are also rich in mushrooms, so it will not be a problem to collect enough for a fry-up in the right season.
History lovers can head to Klatovy, 5km away, and explore its historic centre. Or explore the beautiful and well-preserved Eneolithic hillfort at Doubrava, the burial mound in the nearby Husín forest, or follow in the footsteps of the film Cinderella and drive up to the water castle Švihov.
The beauty of this location is enhanced by the fact that it is only 40 minutes by car from Železná Ruda and other centres of the Šumava forests, yet it is perfectly peaceful and quiet. For lovers of Geocaching (treasure hunting), Dubíček is an ideal starting point. There are plenty of interesting "caches" hidden in the nearby surroundings with wonderful views of the valley. After agreement with the owner, the possibility of sleeping in a renovated hut on the property.

there is an electric inverter with a car battery with a power of 600 W - suitable for charging the tel for free, or an electric generator 1.8kW - 150 CZK/day gasoline. Both are inverters suitable for finer electronics. By agreement, there is a possibility of renting a decently equipped caravan for reasonable money in a neighboring village. WiFi network with 5G is also included in the price.
