Where do the property ratings come from?
It would be a nice place if it were taken care of a little better. We really didn’t feel like driving into the meter-high grass, so even though we’d paid for two cars for one night, we spent the night on a nearby municipal meadow, with the blessing of a local council member from the neighboring town who happened to be passing by.
A nice spot by a pond that's currently partially drained. It's just the tall grass I mentioned that slightly spoils the impression.
We had a wonderful 3 days on the property. It’s peaceful and quiet here. We were the first ones here, so we got a spot right by the water; for the other camping spots, you have to “camp out” in the tall grass farther from the water. That’s fine by us—at least you get some privacy in the tall grass :) Right now there isn’t much water, so you have to go further away to swim; you can’t swim right next to the property. The property isn’t marked in any way, so you need to follow the GPS coordinates. A roe deer, which is right at home here, kept us company the whole time :) It’s a 4 km walk through beautiful scenery to the Hoch campground for draft beer and a bite to eat.
