Really quiet and beautiful place in the middle of nature, cottage spacious enough, facilities inside and outside, where there is everything you need, if you do not want some luxury. The shower is outside but all the more refreshing, the stove runs on one hob but you can heat water with a kettle, the dishes are washed in a laver but everything you need is available, the toilet is flushed with a bucket but running water is handy, the electricity is not working somewhere but you can hit the bed and even charge your mobile. Outside you can stretch out in a hammock and there is a luxurious one inside. Perfect attitude and communication of the owner.
We set up a tent in the garden and used the house as a base for cooking and shelter from the rain. The kids were thrilled with the hammock inside and the rocks in the woods below the property. It's a really beautiful setting in a neighbourhood of nature. We were kept company by deer, birds and a lizard. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, games of catch and release, fishing in the nearby pond, sitting around the campfire and having breakfast under the shelter in the morning. We were enchanted by the neighbouring village of Malé Svatoňovice with its beautiful well chapel, candy store, playground and the Čapek Brothers Museum with its extensive exhibition. We appreciated the quick communication, willingness and flexibility of the owner, thank you.
