Beautiful property, my doggy sat with a local. He was able to run and watch nature and I read in the hammock.
Beautiful garden with a pond (possibility to refresh and swim a little). A teepee with a table, chairs and pallets served as a kitchen and bathroom (since we also go hiking, we bring a stove, a dish, cups and a low bowl as a sink...). The natural composting toilet was a new experience. The kind owner also offers a meditation room for sleeping in inclement weather and a drying rack for drying laundry. However, a bathroom and kitchenette is also available. The surroundings are beautiful and suitable for day trips. The train station is a short walk away, so you can even walk somewhere and arrive back at the campsite. There are two shops in the village to buy groceries. However, the NS trail markings are confusing, it is better to have a map.
It was a very nice experience, we felt very welcome and despite the bad weather we were even offered the opportunity to sleep inside, which we gladly took. The hostess also made her own kitchen available to us. We highly recommend this place, thank you :)
Very successful stay. I was only alone for one night but hope to return again. Plenty of room for a tent. Pond very charming, full of frogs and tadpoles. The toilet in the boiler room works as expected. The tipi tent that stands in the middle of the plot is already a little dirty and has holes in several places, but it serves its purpose. A place for a bonfire by the tent is also great. The grass is mowed only in the central part of the plot, but there is still enough space. The owner just wasn't there, but his friend who lived there temporarily showed me everything. I had to leave my car in the parking lot in front of the house because it is not allowed to go inside. This is a little problematic because I had to carry everything and I am used to always have everything in the car. Overall, I recommend :)
