Where do the property ratings come from?
A stunningly beautiful spot surrounded by nature. We were all alone, so we were able to watch lots of animals and enjoy the pond and the natural surroundings. There’s even a nice restroom and kitchen available, and the owner even offered us a hot shower for a fee. We would have loved to stay longer.
A beautiful spot with three camping options—we chose to pitch our tent on the dam, where the ground was the flattest and there was a picnic table and a large fire pit. The spot is also shaded from the morning sun, so the kids slept in. For breakfast, we headed up to the kitchenette, which has everything—a fridge, a microwave, and an electric kettle. However, you have to pay for electricity to use the kitchenette. The restroom was clean; we didn’t use the shower (we managed without hot water—you can pay extra for that). The owner was helpful and prepared fresh wood skewers for us to roast food on. There was more than enough very dry fallen wood in the nearby forest.
If anyone is afraid of dogs, I recommend letting the owner know in advance so he can contact the neighbor—the neighbor’s large guard dogs ran out toward us, but fortunately they just sniffed us and ran off again. We stayed calm, but the kids were scared.
Fishing is possible, but for an extra fee paid to the neighbor of 200 Kč per angler per day (07/26), in addition to the standard fishing permit.
