If you want to escape into nature, listen to the birds chirping, enjoy a good cup of coffee on the porch, swing in a hammock, and gaze into a crackling fire, then Králíkova Chatka is the place for you.
The cabin features a small kitchenette with a refrigerator and a Nespresso coffee maker. Upstairs, you’ll find a small library and board games. Electric heating will make cooler evenings more comfortable. You can even work from home here, as both cell phone and internet signals work perfectly.
The cottage can accommodate up to 3–4 adults. Upstairs is a sleeping loft with a 200x180 cm mattress; downstairs is a 100x180 cm sofa bed; and you can set up a hammock or swing net in front of the cottage.
There is no bathroom at the cabin, but you can use water from the flowing stream—which collects in a small pond—or from rainwater barrels.

- This is a dry toilet, which may have a natural odor after use. We are working to eliminate the odor using bacteria that break down waste. Thank you for your understanding. 🌿

- Bottled drinking water is included in the price of your stay (6 x 1.5 liters per two people for two nights). You can collect water for household use from the rainwater tanks; two 10-liter buckets and a pitcher are provided for this purpose.

Firewood can be collected in the forest.

There’s a hiking trail marker right below the cabin. Easy trails in the area.
We recommend a walk to the ruins of Zlenice Castle, followed by a ride on the ferry across the river, a walk back along the other bank of the Sázava, and then across the Hvězdonice footbridge back to the cabin.

Late check-out is available by prior arrangement for an additional fee of 300 Kč.
Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the dry toilet. The toilet contains bacteria that break down waste, and any chemicals would destroy them.
Please do not litter around the cabin.

Tiny, clean, cozy—great 🤩 I recommend it to anyone who isn’t a camper. I spent two nights here, and we went on lots of hikes. The kitchen was fully equipped—nothing was missing. The mattress was comfortable. Just be aware that there’s no shower (as noted in the description). You can solve this the “old-fashioned” way—with a basin 🙂 That’s what I did. I had a wonderfully relaxing stay.

A beautiful little cabin in a secluded spot, offering a pleasant retreat even close to civilization. It’s equipped beyond what you’d need for a camping trip. The owners are friendly and approachable, and they make sure you’re comfortable.
I highly recommend it!
