The land is located at 800 m above sea level on the site of the defunct German village of Křížovice, which gradually disappeared from the map after 1945. Today you will find only silence, nature and traces of history - for example, stone foundations.
Nearby is a deer preserve, a little-used road leads by and the meadow offers a view of the Šumava Mountains. Ideal for lovers of solitude, history and romance.
In the evening you can sit by the fireplace and watch the stars without the disturbing light of the surrounding civilization.

Trouble-free arrival even in bad weather
The road to the property is simple, paved throughout and easily passable for regular cars and RVs. In the event of bad weather, we recommend that you inspect the meadow before driving onto it.
Restriction of the access road
The road is wide enough for agricultural machinery, and if you encounter oncoming traffic, you can avoid it in the widened areas.
cycling
The Křížovice meadow is a great starting point for cycling trips. There is also a cycling trail right next to the property.
water sports
Swimming is possible in the Ktišský pond, which is only about 10 minutes away by car. It offers natural bathing in clean water and a peaceful atmosphere.
The land is located about 30 minutes by car from the Lipno dam.

In the summer months it is possible to go on a day trip on rafts. It is 25 minutes by car from our property to Český Krumlov. We will be happy to advise you on the best company to organize your trip.
Rules for staying in the meadow Křížovice:
In order for all guests to enjoy peace, nature and a safe environment, please observe the following rules:
1.
Please park and camp only in the designated meadow. Do not enter the surrounding meadows, paths or woods.
2. Do not feed the game in the preserve or throw anything into it.
The game preserve is located right next to the property. Please do not disturb the animals or feed them - human food is harmful to them. Also, do not throw anything over the fence.
3. Pets are welcome, but...
Dogs and other pets are allowed provided they do not disturb or endanger the wildlife. Keep them under control and do not let them run loose near the game preserve fence.
4. Clean up after your pet.
The meadow also serves other guests. Please pick up your dogs' excrement and keep the area clean.
5. Use the fire pit with discretion.
There is a fire pit - please take extra care when starting a fire, especially in dry weather. Always keep an eye on the fire and put it out thoroughly at the end.
6. Firewood:
Please do not collect firewood from around the meadow or in the woods. If you bring your own, that's fine. Otherwise, you can take prepared wood from the pile for a fee.
7. It is forbidden to search for objects with a metal detector in and around the property. Please respect the historic character of the site and the natural environment
8. Be respectful of nature and others.
Keep the peace, do not litter or damage plants or trees in the area. Thank you for being a good visitor to the countryside. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

A dream place. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it here. Very easy to reach, but still secluded enough to have some peace and quiet. We would definitely come back!
Top spot. Total peace and quiet, asphalt road to the property is fine even with a caravan. South-west orientation ideal. The price is probably for the fact that you will be completely alone, otherwise only dry toilet and fireplace, let everyone consider the price per night alone. Otherwise, probably one of the most beautiful places around, I definitely recommend it!
