The place impressed us with its atmosphere, but it has its own specifics, which is good to prepare for:
- Arrival: The road is dirt and a bit more challenging for longer cars. We made it here in dry weather and very slow driving, even with a 9-metre car. In the rain it could be a problem.
- Location. The hikes around the area are very beautiful and the location has a very pleasant energy.
- Busier weekends: We were here over a weekend and holiday and you have to take into account that the place is not completely deserted. There are cottages at the back of the site, so the cottagers passed us in close proximity with their cars. Added to this are the locals on walks, so if you (like us) have two dogs, you need to be on your guard at all times..
- Adrenaline inserts. It was quite annoying and noisy, but luckily it didn't last long.
