Near the Hříměždice quarry there is the Homole Deer Zoopark, a small contact zoo situated in the picturesque surroundings of the Central Povltava region. This zoo offers visitors the opportunity to observe and interact with the animals in their natural environment.
In Hříměždice there is a public playground, which is a popular place for families with children. The playground is equipped with basic play elements such as swings, slides and climbing frames, which provide children with a space for active fun.

Nice view; there's a quarry right behind the little forest. It's just a shame about all the trash.

A peaceful spot just a short distance from a beautiful quarry that we can highly recommend. The lot is large, so even though several other groups were camping there with us, we weren’t crammed together. The location is very easy to find using the coordinates; the GPS took us right to our destination. Plus, there are portable toilets (Toi Toi) available about a 4-minute walk away right by the quarry, which is convenient.
The only downside to our stay was some rather inconsiderate fellow campers who felt the need to share their romantic moments quite loudly with the entire neighborhood at night. Of course, the owner can’t be blamed for that—it’s just down to the people. The site itself is great, and we’d love to come back if we ever need a place to stay in this area :)
Everything was great—the campground is pretty big, so you have plenty of options for where to set up camp. Right next door is a great quarry for jumping—I highly recommend it.
The owner confirmed today—after our stay had ended—so we were unable to get there. Your reservation system (which only confirms after payment has been made) seems incomprehensible to me in light of my first and (this latest) reservation. There was no phone number to call, but we set out on our trip anyway. In the end, we found out that a festival was taking place at the quarry, so the campsite couldn’t be used at all this weekend. Please refund my money.
