To start off, I’d like to mention that this was our first “no-camping” trip and, in fact, our first real “camping on the car roof” experience overall since buying our rooftop tent. Since we wanted to get a feel for everything and try it out without other people around, this spot was amazing for its incredible tranquility, and the evening atmosphere—under thousands of stars above our heads—thrilled us. If you decide to head into town, it’s not far, and you’ll work off that beer on the way back :) It was 35°C :) The gorgeous view from the car roof in the morning after waking up probably needs no further comment.
