In the local Bohdaneč micro-region you will find almost 100 km of marked cycle routes, including eight routes along the Opatovice Canal, which lead through picturesque villages, ponds and spa areas such as Lázně Bohdaneč and Přelouč.

About 1 km from the property there is a popular sandy beach Oplatil in Stary Ždánice - with a sandy beach and a gradual entrance to the water, ideal for children. Larger and more equipped bathing is offered by the Hrádek sand (8 km) with refreshments and shade of the pine forest, or the sands near Mělice and Lohenice (about 10 km), which are also suitable for sports activities. The Cihelna municipal swimming pool in Pardubice (8 km) provides facilities, slides and pools for the whole family.

Our property is ideal for families with children - besides nature and peace, there is plenty of fun for little visitors. Hammocks can be stretched between the trees where children (and parents) can relax or sway in the shade of the forest.
There is a wooden toy house that serves as a small play area.
For all the little adventurers, we have prepared a forest trail with tasks that will guide them through the surroundings and entertain them at the same time in the form of a game.

The Bohdanečský Pond nature trail starts just a few kilometres from the property and leads around the large Bohdanečský and Matčina ponds. The trail is easy, suitable for children, and along the way you will learn interesting facts about the local nature and birds.
Animal lovers will also appreciate the ornithological observation tower, from where you can observe dozens of species of waterfowl in the protected landscape area.
Another nice destination is the hunting lodge near Rohoznice, which is reached by an easy forest path - a trip suitable for smaller children.
Be careful when starting a fire - only use a prepared fireplace, have water on hand for extinguishing and always extinguish the fire thoroughly when you leave.
Please return toys to the house after use so they are ready for other children.
Please harvest the hammocks (we don't want them to get wet or damaged by the wind).
Please keep calm and respect the quiet of the night - even nature wants to rest.
Don't leave rubbish behind - take away what you have brought.
Pets are welcome, but please keep them under control and clean up after them.

Great quiet place in privacy
We loved it so much that we had to extend our stay twice. Peace, privacy and a social detox. The owners are very friendly and you can tell they care that we enjoy our stay.
Nice place. Land mowed, plenty of hardwood. Possibility to sit at the table. Clean dry toilet (no toilet paper at the time of our visit). Fire pit and water available to put out the fire. Possibility to possibly use the stored hammocks (unfortunately we didn't have time to do that..).
Pity about the absence of a saw and axe for cutting thicker pieces of wood.
The land is a short distance from the road (fortunately not completely busy), so at night cars are sometimes heard. On Saturday night, some nearby disco or concert could be heard a bit.
The site matched the description, the driveway and other areas carefully cut out. Opening the gate without any problems. The oaks are beautiful, healthy. Blackberries were good :-) Just the critters trying to grow in places no one wants them.
We really liked the fire pit (the cubes were good to warm our feet on in the evening), the table and benches. Plenty of firewood. The kadibudka was a great success, as was the prepared game among the trees.
It would be useful to know where the boundaries of the property are and what grows where - we came across a mulberry tree, for example, which deserved attention lest it be trampled.
