It is a place almost on the border of the Šumava Protected Landscape Area.
This place offers many possibilities for trips to explore this beautiful region. In the surroundings you will find beautiful forests, hiking trails, and in the winter maintained cross-country skiing trails and ski areas.
In the village of Vacov you will find COOP Konzum, a mixed goods store Můjobchod, a bakery Vacov, a petrol station and a post office.
In Vacov you can also find Restaurant U kostela and Café and Patisserie Vacov.

Romantic, quiet place, suitable for cycling trips in Sumava;)
Beautiful meadow with a view in a quiet location. On the meadow there is a fireplace and seating. There is plenty of level space at the bottom of the meadow so no need for leveling wedges. Very nice and helpful owner. We enjoyed our stay very much. We recommend and would love to come again :)
