Spruce Corner near Jihlava #7742

The property is located on the outskirts of the village of Střítež near Jihlava, just a few minutes from the D1 exit (Exit 112B). In no time at all, you’ll find yourself surrounded by greenery after leaving the highway.
PLEASE NOTE: From July 13 to October 13, 2026, the bridge in the village will be closed. For those coming from or heading to the highway, the detour to our location will take 10 minutes longer and add 10 kilometers to your trip.
The grassy area is bordered by mature spruce trees, beneath which lies a hidden seating area with a fire pit. The spot is adjacent to our garden, yet offers plenty of space and a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. A dry toilet is available.

In the mornings and evenings, there’s a wonderful chorus of birdsong—one of the most delightful things guests can enjoy here. Occasionally, you can also hear deer from the surrounding meadows, so it’s not uncommon to fall asleep or wake up to the sounds of nature.

The property is suitable for tents and RVs. The access road is an unpaved grass path, which could be problematic after heavy rain.
When the wind blows from the direction of the highway, you may hear the distant hum of traffic, but most of the time, the sounds of the surrounding nature prevail.

Thanks to its proximity to the highway, it’s a great stopover on your travels, but also a pleasant place to spend a few peaceful days in the Vysočina region.
If you feel like going on an outing, a new bike path leads directly from Střítež through the forest and along the railroad tracks all the way to Jihlava. In the village, you’ll also find a renowned pizzeria, which Lukáš Hejlík mentions in his “gastromaps,” and during the summer months, you can enjoy homemade ice cream.
