The grass had been mowed, and we were really pleased with the shelter—two people can sleep comfortably on the bed. There are also chairs, an outdoor table, and a bench.
There’s a traditional outhouse and a rainwater barrel. The property includes a fire pit with skewers; you can just gather firewood in the nearby grove. You can hear the road a little in the distance, but I still highly recommend staying here.
The owner is very kind and helpful.
Everything went smoothly; the place lived up to its description—very peaceful and private. The shelter was perfect for taking cover from the evening rain. We decided not to use the rainwater for washing dishes because it was quite cloudy. The dry toilet, on the other hand, was very pleasant!
A great place to spend the night. We stayed in the shed and slept well there despite the tropical weather. We happened to be there just as they started harvesting grain in the field across the way, but that only happens once a year, and by evening it was quiet again. A few cyclists rode by, but again, no problem… we didn’t pay any attention to them. They didn’t pay any attention to us. The spot served its purpose; I recommend giving it a try.
