An amazing, shaded lot. Good access road; a cyclist passed by once in a while, but otherwise it was quiet and private. Thank you—we’d love to come back 🙂
In dry, warm weather, the place would probably be more pleasant—there’s plenty of shade—but when it rains, it’s really just a place to spend the night, not for a long stay. I definitely don’t recommend it for a stay with small children who aren’t walking yet—it wasn’t a pleasant place for our family, and we left a day early.
The grass is roughly mowed, and you can’t see much of it; the area around it is quite overgrown and full of slugs. However, there are also plenty of raspberry bushes along the path (people occasionally walk by)—if you happen to be there when they’re ripe, you’ve got breakfast. Horseradish also grows by the field, and you’ll find a hoe by the shed :D
It’s a nice walk along the dirt road past the Bozich muk; at the end of it, you’ll find a self-service snack stand (pay via the cash box or QR code) with a view of Trosky.
We won’t be returning to this spot, but it served its purpose—as a place to pitch a tent and a starting point for trips to Jičín.
A beautiful, secluded spot just a short distance from the Prachovské skály. The property features a fire pit with seating and a small table under a willow tree. The shelter with firewood ready to use was a huge help, since it rained and got cold one evening. There were also light bulbs hanging from the shelter, creating a cozy atmosphere for sitting by the fire in the evening.
The driveway was a bit of a problem for us - I had a lot of work to do with the motorhome, I had to drive more. And it wasn't exactly a rainy day. It's downhill on the way back, it's going better.
We just had lunch at the place and reconsidered the trip, so we didn't stay any longer and went on again - to see the viewpoints and views of the region :)
