Where do the property ratings come from?
Complete peace and tranquility, with hardly anyone around. At least for now, until too many travelers discover this place.
In August, when it was hot even in the Šumava Mountains, it always cooled down pleasantly around the ponds in the evening. So the nights here were very pleasant. Even below 15°C.
To a limited extent, you can connect to electricity for a fee; outlets are available on poles at several locations (probably only three spots—which is not enough for such a large area, but this place is advertised as having no electricity).
At the lower end of the pond system (near the entrance to the grounds—on the left in the aerial photo), there are really nice restrooms. Hot water for ten crowns. Next to it is a restaurant with a wide selection of fish.
If you’d like to try your hand at fishing, the ponds are available for a fee.
Everyone is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Nice place 🙂 A slightly different kind of campground than what we usually look for. But if you’re going fishing, it’s great. There are coin-operated restrooms and showers, and electricity on-site. A plus is the local bistro, which serves fish, soda, and ice cream for the kids. Thank you
