In my opinion, it’s a pretty peaceful spot with a horse paddock separated by a fence. The nearby wooden bridge is quite noisy, and there’s some local traffic on the road. The noise from the bridge in the evening can be a surprise, but I don’t think it’s a major drawback. I’ll add a heads-up about the only way to get there if you have a wider RV. You won’t be able to get through—I’ve tested it myself... A camper van can make it through, but a 2.3-meter-wide motorhome cannot. And since I really didn’t want to take a detour, I gave it a try. One narrow section was just barely passable; the other is irregularly shaped and even narrower. You need to approach from the direction through the village of Pamětník.
A nice spot, just outside the village, so it’s quiet here. We were lucky to be the only ones there, so we had the entire large property to ourselves and could enjoy some privacy. The highway didn’t bother us at all, but the wooden bridge right next to the property is pretty noisy when someone drives over it fast.
The site is large and generally well-maintained. Access is good—in my opinion—even in bad weather. I’d just like to point out, though, that you must approach from the village of Klamoš. On the other hand, the access road from Exit 62 of the highway (coming from the west) is narrowed to 1.9 meters both before and after the bridge!
You can barely hear the highway, but you can hear cars driving over the nearby bridge—they’re pretty loud.
But since we arrived in the evening, just spent the night, and left in the morning—it was absolutely fine. We can recommend it.
I only used it for an overnight stay (arrived at 9pm and left at 8am). The meadow is behind the village, surrounded by trees and a stream runs right next to the property. :-)
Unfortunately, the nearby highway was quite audible, and when cars drove over the bridge by the meadow, it also made a rumble.
The unfenced part of the meadow is ideal for 1 reservation, if there were multiple reservations, the horse section would have to be used as well, otherwise it would lose the charm of the camp-free area. :-)
Ideal place to spend the night and I recommend it. :-)
