Thank you for everything, the place was very nice, a well prepared fireplace and plenty of wood in the woodpile. The solar shower was perfect!
Regarding the pitch above the site - both Friday and Saturday there were locals there but I have to say for us it didn't disturb us in any way, the site is below pitch level so you could hear a little but it didn't bother us a bit.
There are plenty of beautiful trails in the area, just a 5min drive away. We definitely recommend the place!
I confess I had trouble getting onto the property. According to the coordinates, the satnav led me under the property where the owner lives. I'd have to cross their property and they don't have a doorbell, so I finally asked their neighbor and she directed me. Unfortunately, this route would not get me to the property. The sign that marks the arrival point is just a board, with no noticeable writing. The property is nice, and I didn't use the fire pit but it was set up. A place to sit, a shower along with drinking water available thrilled me. Although the water only ran cold, if I wanted hotter it didn't.
The meadow is on a slight slope, so you have to take it into account. The owner was very helpful and kind.
It's a beautiful place to camp and the surrounding bush and tree cover makes for a lovely private spot.
