What can a stay in our garden offer you? Swimming, mushroom hunting, nature hikes, or water excursions—you can experience all of this here. It’s also ideal for kayakers.Our garden offers complete privacy. It’s located on the outskirts of town, with direct access to the Otava River, which flows right behind the fence. The 1,800-meter garden offers peace and quiet, and the assurance that no one will disturb you—except maybe the neighbor’s cat every now and then. The train station is 300 meters away, and bus stops—from which you can travel to the central Šumava region—are 250 meters away. The property has a well and the option to connect to electricity (electricity is paid for on-site based on actual consumption). We normally use the well water for drinking, but for rental purposes, I can only provide it as non-potable water. You can dispose of graywater at a designated spot on the property, provided you use eco-friendly cleaning products (I’ll show you where when you arrive). There is no trash collection on the property; please keep this in mind. You’re welcome to use our fire pit or smokehouse. Beautiful views of the surrounding forests. From the train station, you can set out on trips around the area—for example, Rabí Castle is just one train stop away. Sušice is often referred to as the main gateway to the Šumava Mountains. You can travel to the central Šumava region by bus or bike bus from the nearby bus stop, eliminating the hassle of parking. The town center is approximately 2 kilometers away.
We can also provide additional spots on the property for caravans or RVs, provided they are for a friendly group of non-campers, to ensure our guests’ privacy. We offer a 15 percent discount for a second or subsequent caravan.

If you’d like to go out on the water, I recommend renting a boat from one of the rental shops in Sušice, which are located about 150–300 meters from the garden (we’ll help you choose a rental shop).
If you love fishing, the trout fishing area right behind the garden will definitely satisfy you.
You can enjoy all kinds of sports in the area—in the summer, especially water sports, cycling, rollerblading, paragliding, and the rope course; and in the winter, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Sušice features an Aquacentrum with a sauna.
