Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
From the main road you will be about 500m along a dirt road. After rain the road can be very muddy. Most of the year, however, we got around without any problems.Parking the car in a designated place at the edge of the property (or in the adjacent village) - we want to maintain the character of the landscape.

At the Skalky property, we strive to respect and enhance what’s already there—keeping the water in the pond clean, sticking to the mowed paths away from the flowers in the summer, and leaving the place tidy behind us. We hope you’ll share this approach so that we—and all future generations—can enjoy the property.
We spend quite a bit of time at Skalky (you might see us there with rakes, tending to the greenery, etc.), though we actually live in the neighboring village. So, primarily, the place will be just for you and any locals who like to take a walk here, for example, with their dog (the property is unfenced). However, we’d love to meet you and tell you more about the history of the area or about life and travel; just send us a message and we can make arrangements.
A few practical requests:
- Choose a spot to sleep where there isn’t any special vegetation growing (ideally under the trees behind the shelter);
- You may build a fire in the fire pit (and make it a reasonable size); firewood is usually (!) right next to the fire pit—an axe or saw might come in handy;
- Once the fire has burned out, douse it with 2–5 buckets of water (in addition to safety, this creates charcoal that we’ll use on the property);
- Be courteous to anyone you encounter on the property (both locals and animals).

The property is gorgeous… We’re from Olomouc and had no idea there was such a beautiful campground so close to us. There’s no doubt that it’s an oasis in the middle of the fields—it’s clear that when people do what they love, it creates a beautiful place. The drive there was smooth, and once we arrived, there were plenty of different nooks with benches where you can enjoy the view, lots of trees, two fire pits, and a huge pile of firewood 😊 We definitely recommend it and will 100% be back—maybe even for a longer stay.

A beautiful place, an oasis of peace, surrounded by nature. The property features a wonderful shelter with seating, a shower, a toilet, a fire pit, a small pond, and plenty of interesting, varied nooks and crannies, as well as views of the countryside. A special feature is a scavenger hunt.
