Skalky na Hané

On the Skalka property, we try to respect and improve what is there - keep the water in the pond clean, only walk on the mowed paths in summer away from the flowers, and leave a tidy trail. We expect you to share this attitude so that we and all future generations will enjoy the property.

We spend a lot of time at Skalki (you may find us there with rakes tending the greenery, for example), otherwise we live in the neighbouring village. Primarily, therefore, the site will be yours and that of any locals who like to walk their dogs, for example. However, we would be happy to meet you and talk more about the history of the site or about living and travelling; just message us and we can arrange.

Practical please:
- choose a place to sleep where nothing special grows (ideally under trees behind a shelter);
- a fire can be made on the fire pit (and reasonably large); wood for burning is usually (!) next to the fire pit, an axe, a saw can be useful;
- pour 2-5 buckets of water over the fire after it burns out (besides safety, this will create charcoal to use on the property);
- o courtesy to anyone you meet on the property (locals and animals).
