Great as always. New Year's Eve night by the fire and not a soul far away has a great charm!
It's lonely as hell. If you want to get away from civilization, this is the place.
Well-described driveway. However, I didn't notice the recommendation to leave the car above the cottages and not to drive down to the cottages until the day of departure, after it snowed at night. :D Luckily I left without the slightest problem.
The first afternoon was marked by preparing the wood for the long winter evening and night. There's plenty of wood around, it was just the cutting in one that was a bit more challenging. I didn't freeze, I warmed up a bit more before going to bed, but I was still surprised that in the morning it was a pleasant 15 degrees in the hut (it was minus six outside) - as if the hut had at least the roof insulated. :)
I also appreciated the carpet - when the hut was sufficiently heated, it was possible to walk barefoot.
There are more than enough different flashlights and lanterns in the hut, so you really just need to bring a set of AA and AAA flashlights. I personally took the opportunity to light a kerosene lamp - you can't read by it, but it's perfect for sitting in peace and quiet.
I was pleasantly surprised at how tidy the cottage was. Except for the kitchen, which, even at my modest scale, could have done with a little more. But nothing dramatic, the dishes and pots are clean.
I suspect this is due to previous visitors and I suspect the limited amount of water in winter (there are a few litres of spare water available).
Anyway, the cottage matches my expectations and the two nights completely fulfilled my idea of a place to escape from civilization. Had it been free, I would have stayed longer.

Quiet place with nature around. Even on colder days, the cottage can be heated well with a stove.Great communication with the owner.
