Upon arrival, the owner arrived within a moment, he was very nice and helpful - he gave us tips on excursions in the area, showed us the well where you can tap water, and where the nearest beer is. He even let us pick cherries, which was a nice change. We also had our dog with us, but of course on a leash and there was no problem.
The pond is nice, but people who aren't staying via the no-camping option often go swimming there. Unfortunately, we had a gentleman with a child drive up there and park right by the fire pit, which is marked as a no camp spot. At the same time, it was clearly visible that the spot was already occupied - our car was there with a tent and seating. We were in the process of gathering firewood when he drove by, and even so, we spent the next 20 minutes looking at someone else's car instead of calmly grilling our sausages. I understand that this is not the owner's fault, but it's a shame that inconsiderate visitors can spoil an otherwise very pleasant experience.
Overall, I recommend the place - quiet, natural, with nice facilities and a nice owner. Just expect that in high season there may be a bit more people by the water than one would expect from a "nature escape".
