A bike trail runs along the edge of the property, but nature lovers will especially enjoy themselves here—you can visit flower-filled meadows with dozens of species of day and night butterflies and rare plants, juniper pastures, and fir-beech forests with rare birds. You can gather herbs for tea, mushrooms for drying, and all sorts of other forest fruits.
All just a one-minute walk from your campsite.
In 2026, we also installed a covered seating area for you in case of rain.
For your added comfort, we’ve set up a covered solar-powered shower supplied with 400 liters of solar-heated water. The shower is located directly on the property and is shared with the second Bezkemp site in the log cabin. We refill the water about once a week, so please use it sparingly. Please note that if other guests use too much water, the shower may be out of service. We do not check it daily.
The store is far away, so we’ve set up a self-service meadow bar for visitors, offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
We’ve recently prepared an educational trail for you that will guide you through the beauty of the surrounding area from the perspective of both a naturalist and a historian. You’ll also learn details about the relocation and renovation of our drying shed, as well as local place names and the history of nearby sites.
We recommend that visitors install offline maps on their cell phones. There’s no cell service for miles around, and having maps on your phone will help you with more than just hiking.
What not to expect on the property (based on reviews): a perfectly mowed lawn (the meadow is natural, and we care for it accordingly), absolute silence (there’s a guesthouse nearby where guests may behave inconsiderately), plenty of firewood for the fire pit (older planks and various scraps are in the woodshed, but you’ll need to go into the forest to gather wood), all cobwebs completely swept away (spiders spin webs every night, we sweep them away once a week), plenty of water at a pleasant temperature in the shower (we refill the water once a week; if guests use it all up before your arrival, there may not be any left for you—the water is heated in a black barrel; if it’s not sunny or if it’s cold, the water is cold), new equipment (we don’t raise prices; everything ages, and we view Bez Kemp as a service to you; we continuously maintain and replace the equipment, but you must accept that this is Bez Kemp).

- The dry toilet is directly on the property and is shared with the adjoining accommodation in a timbered chamber.

- Studánka about 900 m away by the asphalt access road. Map is on the property.
electricity
- Recharging batteries of small appliances from the 220 V network is possible by arrangement at the nearby cottage No. 351, about 300 meters away. A map with the exact connection point located in a lockable wooden hollowed-out log is on a sign on the property.
shower / washroom
- For your added comfort, a shower is available in summer (July-August), fed by 400 litres of sun-heated water in a black barrel. We refill the water twice a week, but you still need to be careful with it and you may run out:-)
Since 14.9. the shower is no longer in use and we do not refill the water. It's already too cold for outdoor showers:-)

Trouble-free arrival even in bad weather
Access is from the municipal asphalt road, which is followed by a partially paved connection of about 150 m. The paving of the access to the whole plot was newly realized on 28.4.2025, the whole plot can be circumnavigated even in bad weather. In case of difficulties, old roof tiles are prepared to support the wheels.

Access is wide enough for all cars, vans and caravans.
cycling
From the land is easily accessible cycling route 6270 (Ptáčnice-Tanečnice) on the ridge of the Vsetín Hills - suitable for mountain bikes. On the asphalt, little frequented road at a distance of about 5 km lies the Bečva cycle path.
winter sports
Sledding, bobsledding, cross-country skiing. But mainly snowshoeing and trips to the lynx and wolf trails.
water sports
By the river at a distance of approx. 5 km (accessible on foot, by bike, on skates), natural water area Balaton in Nový Hrozenkov at a distance of 9 km (accessible by bike path).

After agreement with the landlords the possibility of visiting the nearby farmstead - breeding sheep, donkeys, rabbits, poultry.
hiking
The starting point of marked hiking trails in the centre of Halenkov (5 km). From the land available ridge of the Vsetín Hills, in a pleasant walking distance, for example, the cottage Vsacky Cáb (1.5 h walk) or Soláň hill (4 h walk). Visitors can enjoy a map with an approximately 45-minute circular walk around the area with nice views and unspoilt nature.
Other activities
Mushroom picking, there is a historic fruit drying room on the property (open in the autumn months). Attention, there is no mobile phone signal on the property. Wi-Fi at the owners' cottage (approx. 250 m). In the immediate surroundings, rich fauna and flora, preserved and varied living Wallachian cultural landscape (juniper pastures, hemlock forests, butterfly meadows). The landlords farm traditionally on the surrounding land (sheep grazing, hay drying, possibility of collecting home-grown eggs, seasonal home-grown rabbit or lamb/skip meat, dried fruit). In autumn, you can take part in traditional fruit drying in a timbered fruit drying room over 150 years old.

A beautiful place, wonderfully peaceful, great for kids, everything you need right there.
Outhouse, shower, playground, fire pit, seating area, water for washing and showering. A forest full of dry wood for heating.
We met some other wild campers there for one night, and it was great.

A nice, peaceful place.
Maybe the place has some drawbacks, like a shared bathroom with the little house, or maybe you can hear noise from the surrounding cabins, as some reviews mention—I’d definitely recommend leveling chocks—but the place itself is simply magical. Fortunately, we didn’t have any negative experiences with noise—at least not at night—so we came away with a very positive impression. In the morning, a beautiful woodpecker was running around in front of our RV. I really like the fruit-drying shed itself and the nicely designed informational signs placed around the area. The stream is nice, too. It’s simply a lovely spot in nature, nestled in beautiful hills, that isn’t just an ordinary place to spend the night but has—at least for us—a certain extra something or added value. Thank you to the property owner.
