We originally went for one 'experience night' but stayed for one more. Great place day and night. Everything here in the review has been said before, I'll say it for us - even with small children it's fine - the fenced area ensures a hassle free release of children. :-) The nearby highway is not really a problem, even its monotonous sound saves. :-) the water may not be drinkable, but it's absolutely perfect for 'swimming' :-) we spent a lovely two nights here, and as 'no-camping beginners' we recommend the Arboretum 100% :-)

Beautiful place with a variety of plants and trees. The space is much larger than it seems on the photos and is perfectly divided into several different experiences by trees and bushes. All the beauty of nature is complemented by several insect houses and lots of different ceramic creations. You can find a bird on a branch or a cricket peeping out of an apple :-) The totem with a squirrel and the owl sitting next to the big fireplace are perfect carvings. Little children will be attracted by the white ears guarding one of the paths :-). The swing for children, the hammock, the bike stand and the small pallet stage are great. Others have already written about the funny bathhouse or the table under the strike. I will give you a tip - be aware of your surroundings, deer are passing by and if you go for a hike in the evening on the forest path "up" and after joining the narrow solid road turn left, you will pass the pond after a while. You can't see through the lush vegetation, but just before the road joins the main road, the access to the water is exposed and in the evening muskrats were roaming there and in the adjacent part of the pond (I'm not an expert, I'm just guessing from the information from Google :-)..) So for children a great place, for parents "chronic insomniacs" the noise from the highway will probably be a challenge :-(. During the day you don't notice it in the communication and the hustle and bustle of life, but at night in a quiet tent very :-(, but headphones in the ears will solve the problem :-)... Thank you very much to the owner, it was nice to be with you.
