Where do the property ratings come from?
A great place to spend the night on a cycling trip. The restroom was clean, and everything worked. At this time of year (September 30), we were the only ones there; at night, we could hear nothing but the hooting of a long-eared owl :-) We didn’t even have time to explore the mysterious castle above us.
A nice place with basic campground amenities. There happened to be some woodcarvers with chainsaws at the campground when we were there, but they wrapped up at a reasonable hour. We’d love to come back sometime. We had three kids with us, so we hope we didn’t disturb the other couple camping there too much.
Beauty lies in simplicity. A cottage in the countryside with an incredible atmosphere. There was a place to wash up, get a drink, and use the restroom—everything was clean. Solar-powered shower. It was nice not to be restricted by specific check-in and check-out times. Key pickup was contactless, but the owner called to explain everything. Thank you :)
