The grounds of the former mill are located at the entrance to the wild canyon of the Doubrava River. Meadow, fire pit, parking lot, travel trailers, playground equipment for children, no Wi-Fi, beautiful nature, rocks, starting point of a nature trail—at its end, in Bílek, there is a restaurant; the town of Chotěboř is about 2 km away.

For trailers and RVs: please do not drive onto the lawn (it is often waterlogged); park in the parking lot (see photo). The concrete area in front of the building can accommodate a maximum of one or two trailers.
The rental income goes toward renovating the second part of the building, which is not yet in the best condition. WE’RE STILL WORKING ON IT. But you can look the other way and feel good knowing that your stay here is helping to fund its repair. Thanks!

Land by the water, forest in a quiet location. Next to the construction, which does not interfere with parking. Lots of room to relax, sit by the fire and right next to a hiking trail and bike path. Great place to recharge and recharge for the work week. I definitely recommend it.
Interesting environment of a free school, right by the Doubrava river. Although there were more people from the school there in the evening and morning at the time of our visit (the last weekend before school started, so it was understandable), everyone was very nice. Only at night we were a bit disturbed by cars passing on the road close to the property.
