Where do the property ratings come from?
A really nice place, close to everything😍. Just a short walk from small wineries, a store, and Mikulov. The fruit trees provided much-needed shade in that hot weather. Everything was just as described. Water, an outhouse, an electrical hookup, and a shower. The only thing is, there’s no hot water. But it was fine for a quick shower after a sweltering day. We were satisfied. And those stars at night…😍
I’d just like to point out to other non-campers that the orchard looks much larger in the photos than it actually is. There isn’t as much space as it seems (at least to us). And when all 6 spots are occupied, that’s the limit. It’s not “packed like sardines”—definitely not—but it’s certainly not private. This isn’t a complaint, just a heads-up for those who, like us, prefer peace and privacy.
Its simple. But good.
A nice, flat plot of land next to the vineyards. The property has everything you need, and even though we spent the night here along with three other “groups,” we had complete peace and quiet. There’s a winery nearby that serves great wine and the best pork crackling spread!
We highly recommend it 😊
Our two-night stay was absolutely great; we wanted to stay one more night in Mikulov. When the kids saw a similar place in Mikulov, they said, “Dad, we want to go back to Dolní Dunajovice—it’s much better there,” so we headed back and extended our stay 😁😁. But you have to admit that we liked Dolní Dunajovice better, too.
