An amazing and peaceful place. Right by the river—a wonderful experience not only for us, but also for our dog. We highly recommend it.
A pleasantly peaceful spot with plenty of sunshine, shade, and privacy. The grounds are well-maintained, and the stream makes your stay even more enjoyable—whether you’re swimming or cooling off your drinks. There’s a cozy spot to relax at a local pub nearby. I definitely recommend visiting.
Our stay was very pleasant. We made our reservation so that we would have the property all to ourselves. The outhouse was beautifully clean and odor-free; the grassy lot was flat enough for a good night’s sleep on a sleeping pad; the property was well surrounded by trees, providing cool shade; the pond was very accessible and offered a pleasant way to cool off; there was plenty of firewood (you just need to bring a saw), and the train tracks above the property weren’t as much of a problem as we initially thought (a quiet, single-car train passed by about four times a day). All in all, a very cozy and pleasant setting. A clear 5 stars from us, and we’ll definitely be happy to come back.
