Camp wild in Cosy marquee by the small airport and lake

Romance on the border between nature and civilization. Just outside the city, next to a grassy airfield, and yet here you walk in the morning dew to a small lake. Sometimes you watch the planes, sometimes you listen to the birds singing. And when it rains, the drops play the most beautiful lullaby on the roof.

We lived in the marquees with the kids. They have their own soul, with a few scratches. But if you squint your eye over the scratches and the years of patio, you'll see how wonderfully light and cozy they are. And you don't get that immediate connection with the elements in any house. Unlike a tent, you're dry and safe in a storm.

For singles, couples and families. You can fit a small child in a large marquee. Larger children can occupy the marquee next door for a fee. Toys can be supplied on request. If you are a large family, you can also pitch a tent next to the gothic. Or park your caravan with friends by the private fire pit.

toilet - A separating vat in which you will feel nothing but relief. You don't send the poop down the drinking water slide, you dump it out before going to the compost heap. If that doesn't smell good, you can either shovel into the open air, or there's a neighborhood area with a flush toilet and shower.

shower / washroom - It is possible to use the shower and toilet in the adjacent area. (approx. 100 m, for a fee 50 CZK/person/day). If necessary, leave money in the marquee.

Children feel like in paradise here. They can fly on the grass, fool around in the pond, there is a swing and a hammock, goats and chickens in the area next door. There are no cars. They're free. Watch out for the rooster.

The wooden marquee has its own special charm. We want to convey it to you. And we'd love it if you'd help us preserve it. So everyone is welcome to make themselves at home in our marquee. With respect for the space that was once our home and that we continue to visit with love.

Price:
We have set the price so that we can gradually fine tune everything for your comfort. For example, renovate and roof the terrace... And we'd be happy to hear your tips for improvements.

The price per night in season is for the main maringot for two people, including.

If you wish to use a second, smaller marquee, either for your children or another adult, please report the number of people in the children's section. Please note, the floor here is only 180 cm long, so quite tight for an adult, but you can sleep on the carpet on the floor.

Bedding:
Ideally bring your own sleeping bags.
100 CZK per person.

Parking:
Park on the roadside next to the marquees so that there is plenty of room to drive further along the road. Occasionally, large loaders will pass by to pick up cut timber.
I don't even lock my car here, I leave the keys in the ignition. But that's up to you:-)

Getting around:
The marquees are on a part of the family property adjacent to the Jihlava airport. There is no public access to the runway and hangar area for security reasons. There is a natural lake, a fireplace in the private area and showers or flush toilets in the main building if you do not want to use the boathouse. Which is very unlikely. You'll see:-D
There are also goats, chickens in the electric enclosure. There's one local gelding, Rony, a medium sized one, and a Hungarian Pointer, Viki.
You'll often see local regulars of all ages and sexes.
However, you have your own privacy in the marquee behind the bushes and trees.

Behaviour:

Please observe the nightly quiet and rules of decorum. There may be other non-campers with small children camping in the adjacent area...

Please do not leave litter behind. You can use the nearby black bin for mixed waste. Please take away plastic, glass.

Please apply branches from the surrounding area to your fire, there are plenty of them after the recent logging of bark beetle devastated forests. A few years ago, there was dense forest all around... Today we have the morning sun in the windows and romantic views to the west. You can use the cut wood in the woodshed for the stove if you need it. Not for a fire outside.

Enjoy the peace and relaxation. Turn it off. And if you can't make it, there's WI-fi and electricity.

If you're looking for a place where it's easy to leave the worries of everyday life behind and switch off for a while, this is just the place. The marquee has its own charm and will make you live in a different world where time passes more slowly, at least for a few days. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of privacy, everything you need in the marquee and as a bonus the opportunity to watch the aviation enthusiasts who only add to the atmosphere.

I was looking for peace and I needed to get away from civilization and take a break from people. I found it here. I would say that it is a kind of "little paradise on earth" - here you have privacy and everything you need to live.

Before the trip I got all the information and then I could read everything in the book on the spot. The guest book and the instructions for living there were a pleasant read for me on the first evening :).

I really liked the way the bathhouse was laid out and I also washed myself with water from the hose without needing to visit the nearby showers in the airport area. The drinking water on the property was also a big advantage, which I appreciated especially on hot summer days.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the fresh flowers in a vase, which made me happy and created a nice welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the place has a very pleasant "aura" and you can feel that the people who created it care for it with love and fill it with joy. The place has been a home for them and they give the opportunity for it to be a home for other people for a while.

I used the land as much as I could and as best I could. One evening I roasted some sausages on the fire, many times afterwards I rested in the hammock and looked up at the sky and the beautiful birch trees on which it was suspended.

The surrounding area also provides a number of places one can hike to. Whether it is nearby Jihlava, the town of Polná or Luka nad Jihlavou.

Thank you very much for this place. I believe that I will visit it again. At the same time I am glad for the inspiration, because I long for such a place myself and I would like to live in a similar place in the future.
