There are tennis courts, 18-hole golf course (Šilheřovice), natural swimming pool (Darkovice), the area of the Czechoslovakia. At the confluence of the rivers Ostravice and Odra you will find only 280 m high hill Landek. Mining Museum Landek Park - the largest corporate museum in the Czech Republic - Petřkovice u Ostravy. The village is close to the city of Ostrava (the location is well accessible from OV by bus 290). The owners are great hosts, we felt like we were staying with mom. They not only cycled with us through all the reachable destinations, but also spent the next two days with us if needed. The garden area is beautiful, well maintained, grass like carpet, possibility to cool off in the private pool.
Poland was a stone's throw away, we visited the Polish market.
