One of the 11 cycling routes in Aš leads directly around the quarry. This area has the densest network of cycling routes in the Karlovy Vary Region. Ride through the PP Smrčiny between Cheb and Aš, or head across the border to the German Naturpark Fichtelgrbirge.
Goethe Rocks (6km) are the westernmost climbing locality in the Czech Republic. Some of the 113 routes are equipped with fixed belay.
On the frozen surface you can skate in the quarry under suitable conditions. Watch out for holes in the ice - the quarry is frequented by hardy people! Trips on cross-country skis or snowshoes through the white silence are magical here.
Swimming is possible directly in the clean water of the quarry. Under the roof, you can take a dip in the Aquaforum Františkovy lázně (9km) or in the city spa in Bad Brambach (14km) or Bad Elster (24km).
Wander to the places J.W. Goethe liked to visit (Goethe's Rock, Chamber Hill). The circular route near Vernéřov will take you through the history of the region. On the German side, the Vogtland Panorama Weg, which is appreciated by tourists, leads through Bad Brambach.

Please treat the furnishings with care. Please observe the rules and regulations of the local Smrčiny Nature Park.Do not make noiseIt is a condition of the property and its immediate surroundings that you keep quiet at all times during your stay, including at night. It is forbidden to play loud music and thus disturb the whole surroundings.Do not fishFishing is forbidden. Please respect the life of the fish that bravely live in this "hungry water". You can feed them and you will be rewarded by their dancing around the food thrown in. Do not throw stones, sticks or other objects into the quarry.Do not set fireOnly a fire in a designated fire pit is allowed on the property. Do not cut live trees for firewood. The fire must be kept under constant control and properly extinguished when finished. Keep an eye on the current situation in the area, unless there is a fire ban/extreme drought.Do Not DisturbNo consumption of large quantities of alcohol or other addictive substances which may subsequently cause a nuisance to the surrounding area.
