Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
The access road is, for most of the year, passable. It is a concrete/asphalt road leading up to the actual entrance to the property, which is designated for parking. The land may only be waterlogged after prolonged rainfall.
Restriction of the access road
Restricted only by the entrance gate, which is located in the corner of the property and is approximately 2.9m wide. Alternatively please take care after heavy rain, the land is grassed.

A pleasant and peaceful place with a beautiful view.
Everything was fine, though I would have appreciated a sign somewhere near the entrance. I was a little worried I might end up in someone’s yard. Otherwise, everything was great—the surroundings were amazing. The property slopes downhill, so it took us a while to find the right spot for our tent.
My boyfriend and I were very happy with our one-night camping trip. The campsite is located just below the castle and offers a beautiful view of Bezděz. The area is quiet; the only sounds we heard were the neighbors’ rooster and a peacock. The garden is on a hillside, but it’s easy to find a spot to set up a small tent.
A very nice place to stay overnight in a mysterious, overgrown garden; the view of the imposing Bezděz Castle is truly wonderful, and you can’t see “civilization” from here 98% of the time. The only downside was the abandoned, slightly spooky little house in the middle of the property—but only after dark :-)
Convenient location if you’re planning a trip to the castle, especially for parking your car.
