Staying in the barrel was, in a word, awesome. It was clean, warm, and cozy 🙂 We were very satisfied. Even though the barrel is small, it has everything you need: a shower, a stove, a kettle, dishes—just everything. The boys, the dogs, and my mom and I had a wonderful time. The location is great, too. It’s just a short walk from the reservoir, and once you weave your way through the alleys of the garden colony, you’ll feel right at home 😅 At night, it was quiet and pitch black—absolutely perfect. We can recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and relative privacy 😊
We also bought some firewood for 100 CZK.
The value for money was absolutely fantastic. We didn’t lack for anything at all (though there were a few too many spiders in the outhouse :-D), and being able to build a fire and take a hot shower right in the middle of the “Trail Through Bohemia” hike is a real treat.

We recommend this place to stay; there were two of us in the barrel, and we had plenty of space. The garden and outdoor seating area are very pleasant. You’ll find everything you need on the property.
