Honey garden

A honey garden just for you. The place is located in the picturesque village of Slatina nad Úpou with a slope to the wooded valley through which the river Úpa flows. The garden has fruit trees and lime trees. Breakfast can be enjoyed with the singing of birds. It is equipped with a fireplace with seating and a garden bench with a table. There is wood by the fireplace and a fork hidden under the bench for roasting. On the very other side of the property, across the creek, is a larger covered wooden beehive. By appointment, a tour is possible.

Possibility to buy honey from the yard. Honey tasting. We have been keeping bees for more than 35 years.
In May we organize Saturday all-day beekeeping courses https://www.vcelarskekurzy.cz and on these days the property is unavailable.

The bees work from early morning to evening, busily bringing pollen and nectar to their dwelling. It is advisable not to linger in areas of bee flight activity and in front of the apiary (especially when it is sultry), there is the possibility of being stung. But mostly no problem, right in the place we live. A proper stingless bee has fenistil-gel ;)

Book the place when you can ideally the day before, so we can set everything up perfectly. Thank you.

For the first trip we suggest nearby Ratibořice with the new Red Bridge over the river Úpa or Havlovice with the ruins of Vízmburk Castle.

IMPORTANT: The garden is accessible by the exit from the main road. Therefore, do not turn off onto a side road anywhere in the village - there are really narrow roads.
