There is a silence and solitude that is not emptiness. But a temple. (C. G. Jung)
Give yourself the luxury of being alone for a while.
Give yourself the luxury of being alone with yourself.
Give yourself the luxury of being alone in the silence of the mountains.
Now just pick the right date.
For heat lovers, and for those who don't mind the holiday clatter of a settlement - in the middle of a hot summer, for the nostalgic - amidst the autumn mists in the remoteness, for the adventurous enthusiasts in winter, and for those who need to infuse their veins with new hope with the promise of budding life at the beginning of spring.
Choose with your heart... let it guide you.
We're artists, and if we could have another dream, we'd like to be able to play more and enter as little as possible into the games that are sort of universally played everywhere. Please consider this accommodation project, which we've been making available to you since last year as an offer of camp-free rest, as part of our journey towards that dream. The first one has already come true when, after many years of searching, we found a replacement, a lost paradise.
We offer you an exceptional, romantic overnight stay, for lovers of nature, peace, horses and deer in the middle of the wilderness of the frontier. It is a small space of a newly renovated maringot designed for a rest from the hustle and bustle of civilization, an overnight stay full of magnificent views of the hills, a short distance from Hranice. Ideal for stopping or wandering the unforgettable mountains for those who long to rest for a while in the arms of Mother Nature. For the more active, by appointment, we offer a range of sculptural art courses, a stay focused on natural communication with horses or the opportunity for healing meditations, quieting and retreat in the bosom of the foothill nature.
Please do not expect luxury in the sense of comfort. The phone connection to the internet is fluctuating, but the more receptive usually turn it off on the first evening to be able to listen more to their own soul.
The accommodation is modest and simply equipped, set up for a stay alone or for two. Please take your little ones or teenagers to us only if they are interested in natural events more than looking at a screen or display, they will not be bored with us. In this case we offer the option of an extra bed, which is a bit of a detriment to the space inside, but can make a great three-track airfield.
The location on a sunny meadow conditions the arrival in the middle of a sultry summer in the afternoon or early evening, when it is not so hot. During the summer we are at our busiest, for those who really want to be in use, we recommend staying at a different time of year than the holidays.
Evenings and mornings are the most beautiful. On hot days it is best to move to nearby quarries or mountain streams to cool off, or choose a route to some hidden valleys. Autumn time is breathtaking here. The clouds of fog rolling across the valleys, the deer bugling, the ubiquitous ripening acorns falling to the still earth, a time of magic and melancholy, snuggling up in a blanket and staring into the fire. Our winters are magical, the days when we can't go anywhere because of frost or heavy snow are our favorite. That's when we take the horses out onto the snowy plains around the neighborhood and they run free among the ancient draws, bits of ice flying off their hooves and frost glistening in their manes. But it's hard to describe it all, you'll have to see it for yourself if you want to.
This year we added a dressing area, equipped the library and made a natural wooden shelter outside with a dining counter, with a gas stove to heat up the food. Regarding food by arrangement, it is possible to cook from our selection of herbs and vegetables, we cook vegetarian, mostly from organic products.
Also, a shower and toilet can be provided in the nearby saddle room.
Last year was probably the most surprising for us, because even due to the floods, the greatest demand for accommodation was only around Christmas and I must say that we will long remember the moments when tired guests after the hike stumble through the snow to the shower and then through the silence of the night back to the heated abode.
Please everyone who visits us, if at all possible, give your souls a real detox from phones and the internet, see how you come back refreshed.
Use the time to really "recharge" and relax.
Please appreciate the near ubiquitous Nature and our efforts to do everything we can to make you feel good.
We believe it will come back to you in the form of beautiful memories.
You will experience what it is like to be in the real countryside.
You are welcome to stay with us.
P.S. If you can, bring some healthier versions of candles in glass, there is a great demand for them. If you're cold-hearted, some warm blankets for more. If you are only staying overnight for a short time, it will help a lot if you bring your own sleeping bag.
If you have any specific requirements for length of stay etc. email us, we will try to accommodate you. I consider setting the price for accommodation to be the most challenging discipline, and we will be fiddling with it for a while before we come up with the best solution, so please be lenient. Also because we only started last year just before the flood, and accommodation was still almost unprofitable only in the sphere of our hobbies due to the constant buying of equipment, and we could do it more or less because we live and work so close. Which allows us to be available, to have enough wood supplies to last the whole winter, and the courage to face new challenges all the time.
Thank you for your patience.
Each of you has taught us something new.
P.S. II. A preview of the fascinating surrounding landscape is offered by a documentary about the Czech Television Trail, which was accompanied by Mirek Vladyka and where we also played a little "game", it is about 7 From Králik to Bílá Voda, check it out.
Maringotka without electricity
You can charge phones etc. also in our workshop or saddle room. There are solar lamps, they light up a small space well.

What you broke, fix it or tell us about it.

This is an all wood area and caution is needed, do not leave your ratooners unattended around candles.
Please blow out all candles whenever you go anywhere even if they are in glass, we have had glass break.
If you will be staying with us in the winter, you really need to be very careful with the stove, do not add any more when you leave, heating of the area when you return occurs almost immediately, so do it again when you return from your trip.
