A few small things could definitely be improved (e.g., renovate the sitting area by the fire or add some equipment to the kitchen), but it wasn't anything that spoiled our impression of the accommodation. We would happily go there again. And the communication with the owner was also completely at ease.

Walks in the surrounding countryside are enriched by signs with information about the local flora and fauna, and there is a beautiful temple in a village a short drive from the property. But the biggest highlight was meeting a kingfisher by the pond.
