We offer a garden cottage in the Iron Mountains, suitable for two people. If you prefer to sleep in a tent, you can pitch one in the garden. Now only 1 reservation per term is possible, so that everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet, which I can't afford. It is possible to wander around
around the area on foot or by bike or relax in the garden with a book.

This can be borrowed from the self-service bookstall right on the property. Regional produce and products can be purchased at the bistro. It is a space suitable for sitting under the roof and for sleeping, using electricity to recharge the phone, etc.

We cooperate with the local club Playful Poníkov, where there is a paradise for children. Under the treetops there is a mini zoo with lots of animals to feed, ponies to groom or just to play with. Adult volunteer help is welcome, so anyone who would like to lend a hand is welcome. As well as caring for the animals, there is also help with the landscaping of the garden, a wooden bridge is being built from the playroom directly into the garden, and there is work for anyone who would like to try their hand at what 'farming' entails. A forge is gradually being built and the operator is happy to show some of his carving work. The reward is an evening get-together with guitar and roasting of sausages.

The owner is very kind and generous. Everything can be arranged with her. You can't drive directly onto the property, which I knew, but I could back my car up to the gate. The cottage is big enough for two adults and two small children. The windows are east facing so anyone not used to the light may be woken up a little earlier in the morning by the sun in the summer months. Otherwise, it is clean and Mrs Jitka even prepared hot water for me in the lavatory for bathing the children. She also took us for a delicious ice cream and to local events in the village, so we had a varied program. She just had her grandchildren there so even that was nice to have fun with my kids. We will be very happy to repeat our stay here when we go this way again.
You just have to take into account that there is no signal in the village. For some it can be an advantage, for others a disadvantage. But it was enough to run up the hill to send messages or make a phone call. The internet was almost non-existent.
I recommend it to those who are looking for peace and quiet and don't mind the presence of the owner.
Otherwise, in the Bistro you can buy various soft drinks, make tea or porridge, read a book, there is also something for children and the lady still sews very nice cloth bags that you can also buy.
I really didn't miss anything here. Sometimes maybe the signal, but you can get used to it.
