A large number of hiking trails in the area, right in our village there are also trails suitable for the little ones. (Statues in the rocks, Hastrmanská and Forest trail with the anthill. The Lusatian Mountains are a stone's throw away, many hikes to the rocks, etc.

There is also an in-line trail Ralsko-Kuřívody or you can use the airport Hradčany.

We don't have a direct recommendation, but there are several ranches in the area. There is a private stable right in our village that offers rides.
Other activities
We are located near the Crystal Valley, there are many glassworks, there is a glass museum in Nový Bor, a castle in Zákupy, and a beautiful Homeland Museum in Česká Lípa.
Please be aware of the surrounding vegetation when lighting a fire on the fire pit, the fire pit is located under trees.
Please only use the toilet in the house (or anywhere else on your travels), please not on the property!
It is possible to take a shower in our house by arrangement.
We will be present in the house and garden throughout your stay, so please bear this in mind when booking. This is not a secluded area, but a garden next to the house.

We were looking for a last-minute tent and the owner was as helpful as she could be, even though she wasn't on the property herself (she has a campsite in her garden). We were a little disappointed that the garden was not landscaped and, as one of us has a severe allergy to insect stings, we were quite worried as there were fallen (and some already rotten) apples lying in the grass. Also, the proximity to the creek caused a large mosquito population, but otherwise the property served its purpose.
A very pleasant visit to the garden, friendly children and a very helpful master and mistress of the house. Sleeping is in a far corner of the garden where only the splash of water in the stream could be heard at night.
The grounds are large, with several swings, a sandpit and cats :). We could have pitched our tent anywhere in the garden - the part with the fire pit is tucked away from the house, so there is a lot of privacy, closer to the house is again closer to the toilet. The garden was mowed more just near the house, but the area around the fire pit and all the paths were also mowed, so movement was completely smooth. Mr owner was incredibly nice and helpful, nothing was a problem, he had prepared facilities for the children inside if it rained too much, ... The agreement with the owners was quick and nice. I highly recommend the land. :)
Oh, what a good time we had! It was like we were visiting friends 🤍 The owners are so nice and helpful and our kids had a wonderful time playing with theirs. The place is very welcoming and offers lots of opportunities for children to play and discover. I recommend it with all 20 of us, we would love to come back.
