Cottage at Sychrov Chateau with a 2400 m² garden with views of the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area #6178

Accommodation for campers who prefer a place that has a great tourist location (an important crossroads of hiking and cycling trails), who like views of the countryside and want to have a lot of privacy and living space for themselves at the same time. For those who know how to be frugal and don't mind the lack of civilization's achievements and the associated comfort.

The plot is above standard size (120 x 20 m!!! i.e. for comparison a little more than the length of a league football field). It is fenced, regularly mowed about once a month and you really have it all to yourself. There is no other place without camping and neither is the owner's RD. The land is I believe safe for smaller children (tried it on my own :-). The castle is as the crow flies to the north only about 300m away. In front of you (to the south) is just a large field surrounded by forests and beautiful views of Všeň, Vyskeř, Kozlov, Příhrazské skály, Mužský hill (direction of view to the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area). I believe that you will be delighted by the wider surroundings of the castle, there is a lot to explore (see below for suggestions).

There is no electricity here (!!!), but the basic lighting is compromised with solar lighting and a solar charger is available for charging small electronics (see below for a list of what you can count on). Once the sun is out it's definitely a good idea to remember to recharge everything you need in time. Water for showering and washing dishes is from a hose (i.e. without heating), the water is of the SČVK order i.e. DRINKING. Hot water on sunny days is solved by a solar shower (40 l).

Although you are a short walk from one of the most visited sights of the Lib. region, it is usually quiet, at night you are not disturbed by light or noise. There is a big difference in the tourist load at the chateau between weekdays and weekends and days when various chateau cultural events take place. It is not a secluded place, so it is necessary not to disturb other possible neighbors (neighboring land) who come here (usually for the weekend) to rest from civilization. If you like noise, shouting or loud music this is not the place for you. For this reason, the place is not suitable for any kind of celebrations.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COTTAGE:
The cottage has internal dimensions of 3 x 6 m, the covered terrace with seating is about 2 x 6 m, in the back of the same size there is firewood for you. The basic insulation, the character of the shell and the "A" roofing eliminate temperature differences during the day. It is not uncomfortably hot during the day and not cold at night. Anyone who has ever slept in a conventional plank camp cabin understands the difference :-). But the hut is not suitable for staying in winter and even cold season, there is no heating and you have to take that into account. We only use candles (in stock) for some basic tempering.

SLEEPING - CAPACITY:
Sleeping possible on a large single bed 2,95 x 2 m (3 x mattresses
120 90 90), which can comfortably sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children (i.e. the capacity of the cottage). You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags!!!! It is also possible to unroll your sleeping bag on the terrace, wipes clean - mattress available.

STATIONING
In addition, it is also possible to erect a tent(s) on the property, e.g. for children if they want to sleep more adventurously outside and not inside (parents also need some quiet time). Ideally, the tent should be placed as far as possible at the bottom of the garden (beautiful views). The size and number of tents is not limited.

COOKING:
Gas cooker (double cooker) with a 2kg back-up bomb for cooking. Basic cookware is provided. For washing up an outdoor stainless steel sink with drainer or 2 x plastic lavor, washing up liquid can be found in the kitchen. Salt, sugar, coffee, tea if you forget to take it with you are also available.

PARKING:
Parking is required on the property directly behind the mature hedge near the gate. Please observe this location and do not drive your car up to the cottage (once it rains, the clay soil will soften)!!! You can park anything, car, trailer, motorhome. There is plenty of room. There are 4 pieces of concrete available to level the axles. pavers (in the corner of the garden).

TOURIST POSSIBILITIES:
The place is very suitable as a starting point and background for exploring the beauty of the Bohemian Paradise and the Jizera Mountains, the Lusatian Mountains and the western part of the Giant Mountains are also very accessible. Civilization is easily accessible (Turnov 6 km, Jablonec n. N. and Liberec about 15 km). The connection to the R35 Liberec - Turnov expressway is only 2 km away. Sychrov railway station for train trips approx. 2 km.

LIGHTING AND CHARGING:
- 2 X solar lamp (IMMAX BONITO) 4W - must be left outside during the day to recharge (on the tile between the tank and the bench), or can be charged faster via USB-C solar charger
- solar charger 28W for 2x USB max 4A 2pcs USB-C cables and 1x USB micro cable
- 20,000 mAh power bank (suitable to be recharged occasionally with the solar charger)
- LED flashlight - rechargeable with light control and charge control (for trips to the toilet, fire etc.)
- 1x ordinary headlamp (3 AAA) - spare battery in stock
- on the terrace 2x solar chain - lanterns (pleasant non-disturbing light) - switch on automatically in the dark, on the back of the solar. On the back of the panel is an unobtrusive switch
- 1 x solar wall lamp between the benches - switches on automatically in the dark

PES:
One dog that doesn't leave piles of hair behind and is of a calm nature (won't disturb people around by barking) is possible, but must not go to bed under any circumstances. He must not be left alone on the property. Primarily, it is important to me that the place is child friendly (!!!!!!!!!!!!! ) and the no-camping code is followed and this goes against the absolute freedom of dogs. Hair/ excrement/ howling/ barking needs to be channeled when the dog is present DOGS MOST IMMEDIATELY HANDLED!!!! If you are travelling with a dog please allow for this.

WASTE:
Bins for sorted waste, are about 150m away at the driveway (west). What decomposes in the countryside put on the "compost" by the toilet, the rest you can't take home for some reason you can leave in bags behind the hedge by the gate - I will take it away.
