A trailer on a hill, on the edge of an orchard, with a stunning view of the countryside and the picturesque village of Hostětín, located in the heart of the White Carpathians and known for its eco-friendly projects (construction of a constructed wetland, a biomass heating plant, energy-efficient street lighting, etc.).

Minimum stay: 2 nights; if you’re interested in staying just 1 night, there’s an additional fee (total of 2,600 CZK). The accommodation is ideal for two people. For more guests, the sofa can be unfolded and a mattress topper added, or (for families with older children) a tent can be set up next to the trailer. The maximum number of guests on the property is 4. The price per night during the high season (May–September) is 1,900 CZK/night, and 1,500 CZK per night during the off-season (if you visit the trailer during the off-season, expect to use the stove more frequently for heating). It is closed from December through March and opens around mid-March, depending on the weather. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a welcome package (local Karpatky dried fruit and cider from the Hostětín cider mill). If you’re arriving by public transportation, let me know, and I’ll contribute toward a snack for your trip home.

The trailer has electricity (solar panel and battery) for lighting and basic needs (charging your cell phone, a small fridge for food, and a power bank; please do not use hair dryers or similar high-wattage devices [W]). For cooking, there’s a gas stove with an oven and a gas grill outside. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove (wood is stored in the woodshed next door). There’s an outdoor shower (a camping barrel shower; in spring and fall, I can bring hot water as needed upon request), and an outhouse nearby. Drinking water in barrels (40 L); I can refill them upon request. Fully equipped kitchenette (plus a few basics: oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, etc.). Next to the trailer is a picnic table; you can hang the hammock—which is stored inside—outside, and wooden lounge chairs are also available. Inside the trailer, you’ll find books, a speaker, board games, etc.

In the evening, you can build a fire or fire up the grill, roast some sausages, and enjoy the view as the sun sets.

A store is a 10-minute walk away (open Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.). In dry weather, you can easily drive right up to the property; alternatively, you can park in the village on the small square or in the parking lot next to the fire station—it’s then a 10-minute walk to the trailer.

In the summer, it gets really hot inside the trailer during the day, so I recommend planning some other activities for your stay, such as visiting interesting places in the area or choosing from the many swimming areas located in nearby towns.
