Great spot—fenced, well-maintained, clean, with plenty of amenities available. Like others, we really appreciated the “shower” from the rainwater tank. We camped with our 1.5-year-old daughter, who also really liked the place—we had peace and quiet thanks to the fencing. We definitely recommend it for families with children, especially thanks to the swing, mini sandbox, and other toys available on-site.
There are plenty of animals in the area, not only on the adjacent farm (ducks, geese, goats, cows—but don’t worry, there was no “noise” or noticeable odor) but also in the surrounding area (herons, owls, bats, horses). It’s also a great spot for stargazing! The property is huge, and there’s plenty of room for everyone.
The only downside is perhaps that the property is right next to the intersection of two roads, where—even though it’s a total “backwater”—quite a few local cars drive by, even as late as 10:30 p.m.—but it wasn’t a big deal.
Complete peace and quiet in a secluded spot. Every now and then you can hear the mooing from a nearby barn or a cyclist riding by. Otherwise, it’s truly peaceful. It has everything you need.
