The place is really beautiful. A little paradise 😊We liked it very much. The trees smell beautiful there. The background was well prepared. Shower and toilet was clean.
The water is really close and the dog beach also surprised us pleasantly. There is still a part of the fencing missing, but I believe it is just a matter of time and then it will be perfect. 🍀
We spent a long weekend here and overall we rate our stay as pleasant, with many positive surprises and a few small things that could be improved in the future.
The site is in a great location just a short walk from the water - the beach at the Junior campsite is just around the corner and was clean and pleasant at all times. On the site itself, we were pleased to see that there were excellent facilities: running water, soap, paper, shower, clean fire pit with prepared wood, cooking supplies and even little things like some games and toys for the kids. All this contributed to the relaxed atmosphere and gave the impression that visitors were being thought of.
As for the camping area itself, the site is quite open towards the surroundings, so you have to expect less privacy and a busier environment - but that is rather standard at Nové Živohošt'. The terrain is uneven in places and with roots in the grass, so it took us a while to find a suitable place for the tent, but we made it without any problems.
There is a chemical toilet on the site, which unfortunately was apparently not taken away and after a few uses it ceased to be usable. The owner advised us of the option of taking the waste to a public campground about 500 yards away, but there was no spare chemical available on site that we would have to drive to pick up. In the end, therefore, we preferred to use the facilities of the Junior campsite next door, which was clean and fully functional.
Communication with the owner was friendly, and we were offered wood delivery and information about the area.
Summary: the site has great potential, offers lots of practical benefits and pleasant facilities. If the maintenance of the chemical toilet is fine-tuned in the future, and perhaps the separation of the site from the surrounding area is improved a bit, it will be a really relaxing place for a weekend by the water.

Do budoucna už přemýšlíme nad dalšími možnosti ohledně chemického splachovacího wc, ať předcházíme podobným situacím, které mohou nastat.
