The garden was absolutely magical. We’d wake up in the morning and watch the horses grazing right next to us; the chickens would come over to look at us, and we could go refresh ourselves in the stream whenever we wanted. I have no complaints.
The owners take loving care of the property; they came to welcome us and show us where everything was. Everything was just as described—a dry toilet, drinking water, a shower, a fire pit, firewood....
The kids had a blast playing with the owners’ children, watching the horses, and riding the little boat.
We traveled by car with a tent, and I’m really glad we did, because the only thing I’d be worried about with our long RV is the access road leading back up from the property—it’s a short but steep hill that you have to drive up very quickly and directly onto the road—it’s not a busy road, but it could be challenging to make the turn, at least for beginner RV travelers.
