Camping near Berounka - a quiet place in nature
We really like this place. We often come here with our five children - to set up a tent, run barefoot on the grass, watch the clouds and enjoy time together a little further away from civilization.
The land is for camping only. There are no RVs or cars allowed on the property, but you can park right next to the road - it's only a few steps to the site.
The Berounka River is about a 3 minute walk from the property and has a nice entrance to the water. Several small walks can be taken in the area, for example to the nearby waterfall Dírka (about 15 minutes). In the evening, you can often see deer or rabbits in the meadow.
There is a simple fire pit and a small seating area (rather child-sized) on the property. The site is rather natural and simple - there are no bins or facilities to buy anything, so it's good to come prepared.
Most of the time there is lovely quiet and the sounds of nature. However, as there is a river and campsite nearby, sometimes in the main boating season you can hear the distant bustle of the campsite or boaters in the evenings. Usually, though, it is not late into the night.

Where do the property ratings come from?
The spot is really nice, tucked away in a small forest, yet just a short distance from a quiet road where it’s easy to park. There’s plenty of space for tents, a fire pit, a small seating area, and plenty of firewood. The spot offers a beautiful view of the meadow and the Berounka River, where you can also enjoy a nice swim, and there are plenty of opportunities for walks in the surrounding area. The only downside is the “Darovanský dvůr” resort on a nearby hill, from which, unfortunately, a concert echoed through the valley late into the evening, slightly disrupting the idyllic atmosphere of enjoying the peace and quiet of the forest—but that was more a matter of bad luck with our timing. Otherwise, I can definitely recommend this place :)
This was our second time here, and we really enjoyed our stay 💛. The location is beautiful, close to the Berounka River, which is especially nice on summer days. The view is also beautiful, especially of the sunset. 🌞
A really nice spot not far from the Berounka River. Since the place is pretty well hidden from the road, we wandered around the area for a while :D The view of the meadow and the river is truly beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time there.
