A beautiful gamekeeper’s lodge, lovingly restored. The facilities include a shower, toilet, and stove; hot water; everything you need is available; and it’s clean. The garden is partially shaded by trees; it’s peaceful—just like being in the middle of nowhere. It’s also nice for walks in the surrounding forests. The cell phone signal was a bit weak, but it was manageable. We had two wonderful days.
A peaceful spot in the middle of the woods; the tranquility is slightly disrupted by the occasional train passing by behind the fence.
The entire property is fenced in, making it ideal for a dog. There’s an outdoor kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom, sports equipment—table tennis, goals, etc.—and a fire pit for roasting sausages.
It’s a shame that a place with such enormous and beautiful potential, set in stunning natural surroundings amid top tourist destinations, is largely an unkempt storage area for all sorts of things… If you have small children or curious dogs, be careful they don’t hurt themselves on anything.

Up front, there’s space for three larger RVs side by side; since we were the only ones there, we parked our car next to the RV after checking with the owners—otherwise, it would have had to be either in front of the property (there’s plenty of space there) or in the yard. Expect minimal to no cell service or data, so it’s a great online detox. What was amazing was the peace and quiet at night. In the middle of the forest, the animals were sleeping, no light pollution—absolutely amazing. The bathroom facilities—that is, the bathroom with a toilet—were fine; best of all, there was plenty of hot water whenever we needed it. Trips around the area, whether by bike or on foot, were great—I recommend bringing bikes.
