The surroundings of Palčovka are ideal for cycling - there are many routes on roads, gravel and forest paths. You can go for example to the Kvačianska and Prosiecka valleys, around Liptovská Mara or on beautiful circuits through Zuberec, Oravice and Chočské vrchy. These routes are especially suitable for mountain bikes or electric bikes.

Athletes can also train for the famous Oravaman triathlon - the cycling part of the race runs through Huty, Zuberec and Oravice and is approximately 90 km long with an elevation gain of around 1750 m.

The landscape around the Western Tatras offers beautiful views, mountain roads and quiet forest paths - ideal for relaxing trips and challenging training.

A trip to the Kvačianska Valley to the historic Oblazy watermills is a great experience. In winter, children can enjoy bobsleighing and sledding right at the cottage.

Please observe the night time curfew from 21:00 to 08:00. This is important not only for the sake of the other guests at the cottage, but also with respect to the neighbors in the village.

There is a no smoking policy in the cottage.

The common areas (barn, cellar, terrace) can be used by all guests. Please keep the cottage tidy. If you rent equipment, games, dishes, barbecue or deck chairs, please return them clean and in their place.

The barbecue can only be used outside the property. Please dispose of cold ashes in the designated area behind the woodshed. Please dispose of rubbish in the bins (plastic / mixed waste) when you leave.

The mitten is partially self-service and is based on trust between guests. We therefore ask for consideration and respect for other guests and the cottage itself.

Please park only in the designated spaces at the cottage.

A holiday fee of € 1 per person/night is payable to the municipality of Huty upon departure.
