We really enjoyed our time on the property; in a way, I fulfilled a dream of mine—ever since I was young, I’d wanted to spend some time at a cabin in the woods or on the edge of the woods, where it’s peaceful, the forest smells wonderful, and all you can hear are birds, with the sounds of the village occasionally drifting in from the distance—and that’s exactly what happened here. The ponies are a nice touch during our stay, and the composting toilet is a big plus. Even though the property isn’t fenced in, the electric fence works perfectly as a substitute—as our dog discovered—and he thoroughly enjoyed the little pond on the property. This definitely won’t be our last visit—we’re already planning when we’ll return.

There’s a fire pit where you can grill if you have a grill grate, and the restroom is nice and clean, too.
