An asphalt road runs through the village and turns into a paved dirt road leading to the forest. Near the forest, turn right onto a grassy dirt road. You can drive all the way to the entrance to the orchard, where you can park. From there, you’ll need to back up to a spot where you can turn around. If the field is planted, you won’t be able to turn around here. Currently, there are peas growing there.

In dry weather, it is possible to drive right up to the property.

The location is ideal for cyclists. Quiet roads, as well as country and forest trails, lead directly from the orchard to Sychrov Castle, the Bohemian Paradise, and the picturesque villages in the surrounding area.

The surrounding area offers many opportunities for hiking. Just a few minutes from the orchard is Sychrov Castle with its expansive English-style park. Nearby lies the Bohemian Paradise—a protected landscape area famous for its sandstone rock formations, scenic viewpoints, castles, and chateaus. Popular destinations include Hrubá Skála, Valdštejn, Trosky, Malá Skála, and Suché skály. Whether you’re looking for a short walk or an all-day hike, the surrounding countryside offers countless beautiful trails through nature.

A beautiful spot in a former orchard. The drive there is pleasant along a dirt road and well-marked. The place itself is beautiful and clean, with everything perfectly set up for a campfire—we really enjoyed our stay here. After talking it over with the owner, we were even able to bring our little dog—thank you so much for that. Within walking distance, there are beautiful walks among the sandstone cliffs, and you can walk to Sychrov Castle.
We’re looking forward to seeing the trailer that’s currently under construction—it looks like it’s going to be luxurious! 😊
