We spent two nights here. The owners are great! Upon arrival, they showed us everything, explained it all, and gave us a tour of the property. We had access to a kitchenette, a flush toilet, a shower, and electricity. At the edge of the property, there’s a clay tennis court available by arrangement, with excellent facilities. I can only confirm the other reviews and comments—you can really tell here that the owners do this for the joy of it! Thank you very much, and we’ll definitely be back.
A great place for a peaceful getaway, located on the outskirts of the village. Thanks to the exclusive reservation, we had plenty of space and privacy—we highly recommend it! Even though it’s not right in the middle of the forest and you can sometimes hear the nearby road or neighbors, it didn’t bother us at all (and we’re actually pretty sensitive to noise).
We were there with a travel trailer. We had access to drinking water, a place to dispose of gray water and the toilet cassette behind the house, and we were able to hook up the trailer to electricity. The owners are very kind, helpful, and respectful of their guests’ privacy. They travel in a campervan themselves.
A small logistical note for families with children: Frenštát doesn’t have much to offer; the main attractions in the region are a 20- to 40-minute drive away; the immediate surroundings (Frenštát–Horečky) are neglected and disappointing. Nevertheless, we’re convinced we’ll be back.
A truly beautiful place with very kind and helpful owners. We highly recommend it—it’s definitely worth a visit!
